N. Belykh's play «Ov, dityaoj, ov!» (Live, my child, live!): renewal of art forms

Abstract. The article contains a detailed analysis of the last work of the Komi dramatist N. Belykh. The play "Ov, dityaoy, ov!" (Live, my child, live!) is an extraordinary phenomenon in the Komi drama, indicating a crisis in in the creative consciousness of N. Belykh in 1990, when society was experiencing a moral cataclysms. In aspiration to convey inner experiences, reflections and doubts of the contemporary, as well as the moral state of society of the border period the dramatist develops new artistic method "a text in a text" for the dramatic art of the Komi. This method allows revealing the fragmentation, incoherence of thinking, and understanding of the world of the contemporary; to characterize his relation to the moral guideline; to show the decrepitude of the existing system of values. Also, this method helps to identify the relation of the hero N. Belykh to the state power, his understanding of the development of certain features of the national character of the Komi under the influence of totalitarian power. A study of the play "Ov, dityaoy, ov! " can reveal not only the artistic evolution of the art system of N. Belykh in the 1990s, but also to identify some trends in the overall development of the Komi drama in the border period, one of its most important feature – striving for innovation.
