Abstract:The article analyzes the characteristics of development of modern poetic process in Mordovia. On the example of creativity K. Smorodina, A. Gromyhina, A. Sharonova and other poets of the Mordovian Republic identifi ed representative genre form, the specifi c of the creative method, artistic peculiarities of poetry texts. During the research the author comes to the conclusion about the gravity poets of the turn of XX-XXI centuries to a major genre forms (lyrical cycle, a book of poems). The work focuses on the peculiarities of the architectonics of these poetic texts, emphasized the tendency of contemporary writes to the unity of the motivic complex, thematic lines; to the presence in the text crosscutting motives and images, which suggests about the magnitude of the poetic vision of the world of the modern poet.
