Abstract. Innovative development of any branch, including building, isn't obviously possible without corresponding scientific support. Scientific support for the innovative development of the industry "Construction materials" in the near future the development of suitable research topics designed to provide resource-and energy-saving and environmental protection. Scientific support should be directed on realization commercially  processes and the technologies, allowing to receive return from investments in scientific workings out not immediately, but also not in the far future.
