Abstract. The article analyzes the theoretic conceptions of the origin of psychosomatic and somatoform disorders,and also describes the modern views, recognizing the multifactorial nature of this group of disorders. The obtained results allow to continue the development of biopsychosocial approach in psychosomatic medicine.
