The character of Marginal in Khanty prose

Abstract. The character of Marginal came to Khanty literature together with the artistic method of village prose. The character of Marginal was developed on the pages of works of E.D. Aipin and R.P. Rugin. The Hero-marginal opposed to the hero-righteous. The concept of marginality in Khanty and changes in cultural-religious and world outlook views of the hero. More often, the marginality of the hero in Khanty prose is associated with the changes in the existence’s environment.
