Abstract. The article analyses the subject of relationship of man and nature in the works of I.G. Toropov that is one of the most important in his creative work and is a basis of the author’s artistic vision of the world. The article considers philosophical, ecological, ethical aspects of understanding of nature and principles of its artistic image.
