ABSTRACT
Introduction: the study of dialectal features, the description of sub-dialects and dialects of the Mordovian (Moksha and Erzya) languages is one of the relevant tasks of Mordovian and Finno-Ugric linguistics. The article deals with the models of formation of pronominal adverbs in the Mordovian (Moksha and Erzyan) languages, in which the basics of the demonstrative and interrogative pronouns and common ancient case and non-case formants are found, which have lost the living word-formation relations and are interpreted as affixes of adverbs.
Objective: to identify historical patterns that led to phonetic and semantic changes in the structure of the pronominal adverbs.
Research materials: adverbs of the Moksha and Erzyan languages in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia and beyond its borders.
Results and novelty of the research: the research was carried out on an actual topic with the purpose of solving certain problems related to the analysis of new formations in the grammatical category of adverbs, the restoration of affixes of pronominal origin, the study of dialects of the Mordovian languages. The importance of the problem is determined by the need to represent the originality of Mordovian languages in connection with the disappearance of a number of dialects.
Key words: primordial pronouns, pronominal adverbs, word-formation model, formants, affixes.
