ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article considers the inflectional possibilities of personal pronouns in the dialects of the Moksha-Mordovian language, the case forms of which are represented by numerous doublets; some of them are
innovative formations. The subject of the study is the category of personal pronouns.
Objective: to study and describe the relational potential of personal pronouns.
Research materials: dialects data collected during the annual expeditions; textbooks and scientific grammars; works of Russian and foreign scientists.
Results and novelty of the research: the analysis of dialectological material shows that the paradigmatics of personal pronouns in the dialects of the Moksha language implies not only change in cases, but also the
acquisition of possessive suffixes and suffixes of predicate change. Agglutination of all formants occurs as follows: pronominal base + case formant + possessive suffix + amplifying suffix. The scientific novelty of the study is
that the sequence of joining of the constituent parts of the pronominal form, and their dialect variation has not been considered before. The relevance of the chosen topic is also the need to study the unique Moksha dialects in
connection with the globalization processes reflected in the mass assimilation of the Moksha population.
Key words: Moksha language, dialect, pronoun, inflection, possessive suffix.
