ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article examines A. P. Misharina’s poetry for children. The subject of the analysis is poems written from the perspective of a child, which form a distinct layer of the Komi poet’s role-playing lyric poetry.
Objective: to reveal the artistic features of children’s poetry of A. Misharina.
Research materials: poetic texts by A. Misharina.
Results and novelty of the research: at present, in Komi literary studies, the work of authors who write for children is not the subject of special research. Some aspects of the works are considered in the context of their biographies. The scientific novelty is also due to the fact that for the first time the works of A. Misharina have been studied from the point of view of their subjective structure. It has been established that in most poems for children the main form of expression of the author’s consciousness is a role-playing hero. A. Misharina’s life was connected to her native village, school, and children, and as a result, the main characters in her poetry are girls and boys, whose lives are connected to the village and its material world. The events depicted in the poems are conveyed in everyday details typical of the rural lifestyle and are easily recognizable to young readers. An analysis of A. Misharina’s poems also allows us to say that the content of the role-playing hero’s monologues reflects the moment of a child’s perception of the surrounding world, and therefore the nature of the speech is emotional, excited, but at the same time a little naive. However, as the study showed, the character’s speech contains words and phrases that belong to a more rational principle and express the support that any child needs. In the role-playing poems of the Komi poet, the adult does not have his own word, thus, the poet emphasizes the pivotal role of his little hero, who is not only at the center of the plot, taking an active part in it, but also has his own character.
