Abstract
Introduction: the article is devoted to the study of artistic features of the lyric cycle as a major genre form in modern Russian poetry of Mordovia and fits into the complex of domestic literary criticism studies concerning the problem of genre synthesis. The subject of the analysis is the poeto-logical features of love lyric cycle.
Objective: to identify the genre, problem and thematic originality of love lyric cycles in the works of poets of Mordovia at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries.
Research materials: the lyrical cycles of V. Gadaev, K. Smorodin, and P. Gromov.
Results and novelty of the research: in modern Russian poetry of Mordovia, such a super-genre formation as a lyric cycle has been actively developed. Its genre flexibility allows us to convey the conceptuality of internal experiences, the evolution of feelings and emotions. Among the thematic cycles, the most popular today is love lyric cycles, which often become important structural elements in the construction of a poetic book as a complete artistic system. Love lyrical cycles become meaning-forming in the creation of a book of poems in the works of V. Gadaev, K. Smorodin, and P. Gromov. The lyrical cycles of these authors are distinguished by their deep confessional, autobiography, and proximity of the lyrical hero to the image of the poet. There is often a dramatic
love story at the center of poetic reflections, which is often associated with the realization of the loss of a loved one. Understanding of love experiences and the image of the beloved is often combined with religious and philosophical discussions about life and death, the purpose of a person, which indicates the expansion of the thematic dominants of the love lyric cycle, the development of multi-level cyclic structures. The scientific novelty of the work is due to the fact that it represents the first experience of a comprehensive study of the features of the love lyric cycle development in modern poetry of Mordovia.
Key words: modern Russian poetry of Mordovia, genre formation, genre synthesis, lyrical cycle, motif, lyrical hero.
