Axiological antithesis in the figurative system of the Mari moral and psychological short story of the second half of XX century

ABSTRACT
Introduction: this article is the first experience of considering the poetics of the Mari short story of the second half of XX century in the context of art axiology in regional and domestic literary criticism.
Objective: to identify and characterize the axiological antithesis in the figurative system of the Mari moral and psychological short story of the second half of the XX century.
Research materials: V. Mikishkin’s, Z. Katkova’s, and M. Ilibaeva’s short stories selected by us as the most significant in the art relation and in terms of expressiveness of the problem interesting for us (axiology and the composition of the figurative system).
Results and novelty of the research: the result of the study was the rationale of the connection between the author’s axiological concept and the poetics of composition in the Mari short story of the second half of XX century. In the article it is proved for the first time in the context of the Mari national literature, that it is the axiological antithesis determines in the story the peculiarities of construction and semantic saturation of its figurative system. The scientific novelty of the presented material is also due to the fact, that the short stories considered in the article (V. Mikishkin’s «You Are Remembered, Macedon!», Z. Katkova’s «The Alien» and «For the Sake of Love», M. Ilibaeva’s «The Excavated Bed» and «Harmony of the Soul») not only in the aspect of art axiology, but also in any other aspect in the works of other authors have not yet become the subject of special scientific analysis.
