Features of Surgut ergonymy at the beginning of the XXI century (on the material of the commercial ergonyms)

ABSTRACT Introduction. The article is devoted to the description of modern ergonymy of the city of Surgut in functional and structural semantic aspects. The main principles and methods of nomination of Surgut business organizations in the early XXI century (commercial ergonyms) are defined. The classification of commercial ergonyms of the city of Surgut, collected in the period from the 2015 to 2018 years, is presented. Objective: description of features of nomination of commercial ergonyms of the city of Surgut at the beginning of the XXI century in functional, structural and semantic aspects. Research materials: the internet resource 2gis.ru/surgut was used for ergonyms selection. Results and novelty of the research. The result of the research is the classification of modern ergonyms of the city of Surgut presented for the first time. Study of these ergonyms in terms of manifestation of regional features under influence of Yugra vocabulary is one of the aspects of scientific novelty. Under Ugric vocabulary we understand the vocabulary, related to the Yugra region, as well as the Finno-Ugric origin. In the article the authors mention, that one-word associative-figured Cyrillic Russian-language ergonyms, reflecting the specifics of an enterprise and having informative function, are the most typical for Surgut ergonymicon. The theoretical importance is in the fact that the analysis contributes to development of onomastics and socio-linguistics in terms of study of Surgut language. The practical importance is in possibilities of use of the base of the analyzed commercial ergonyms of the city of Surgut for further onomastic descriptions in regional aspect.
