Finnish theme in the lyrics of Ivan Savin in the context of acmeistic poetics

ABSTRACT Introduction: the article considers the lyrics of Ivan Savin, a representative of the Finnish branch of Russian literary emigration of the first wave, in the context of the problematics of the poet’s creativity. Objective: to consider the lyrics of Ivan Savin on the subject of acmeistic traditions in representation of Finnish theme. Research materials: the corpus of poetic texts, in which the theme of Finland is the most representative. Results and novelty of the research: the article revealed the specifics of realization of the Finnish theme in the lyrics of Ivan Savin in the light of his focus on the experience of interpretation of this theme by the largest representatives of acmeism – N. Gumilev, A. Akhmatova, O. Mandelstam; the work studies the picture of the world of Savin, which was formed under the influence of both cultural and biographical factors. We refer his orientation to the Petersburg text, explained by his short stay in St. Petersburg, and the influence of acmeists on his lyrics to the cultural factors; to the biographical factors we refer his heavy experience in the Civil War on the side of white and the subsequent emigration. This aspect of Savin’s creativity was not the subject of scientific research.
