Formation of the main components of the Mordovian population of Novaya Binaradka of Samara Oblast (on the materials of the third revision of 1762)

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article, based on the analysis of the materials of the third revision of 1762 (revision tales) in the village of Novaya Binaradka, as well as a number of other archival documents, restores the ethnic history of the Mordovian population of this village, which currently speaks the Moksha-Mordovian language. The main attention is paid to the following issues: determination of the places of initial settlement of groups of the Mordovian population who arrived in Novaya Binaradka between the second and third revisions; the quantitative ratio of Mordovian inhabitants from various
villages in Novaya Binaradka based after the third revision; correlation of archival data with the results of field research of ethno-linguistic processes in the Mordovian villages of the Stavropol Krai and the Novaya Binaradka subdialect of the Moksha-Mordovian language.
Objective: to identify the initial places of settlement, the history and ethno-linguistic heritage of the main Mordovian groups in the population of the village of Novaya Binaradka.
Research materials: materials of the third revision on the village of Novaya Binaradka in 1762; materials collected and processed by the author in this village during the field season of 2019; archival documents on the village of Staraya Binaradka, our own field materials on the Staraya Binaradka dialect of the Moksha-Mordovian language, as well as on the Moksha dialects of the Samara Luka were used for comparative analysis.
Results and novelty of the research: the conducted research made it possible to establish the initial places of settlement of the Moksha and Erzya peoples participated in formation of the modern Mordovian population of Novaya Binaradka; to accurately localize them and compare with modern settlements, which opens up the possibility for further dialectological research. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that these archival documents are analyzed for the first time in the scientific literature in the context of the study of the origin and history of various components of the Mordovian population of the village of Novaya Binaradka.
