Abstract.It has been known that petushki, nursery rhymes and riddles are small genres of folklore, which differ from the genres of narrative folklore in short sentences, small bulk texts. This article discusses the language features of small genres Mansi children’s folklore – pestushki and nursery rhymes, riddles. In works of folklore of the people of Manci, intended for small children, are common means of expression: the sound, the repetition of words and phrases, anadiplosis, exclamations and appeals.
