Abstract. The article discusses the features of the language of narrative folklore genres. It is known that the narrative folklore includes tales, myths, legends, true stories, which differ from small genres by complex sentences and voluminous texts. Repetitions of words (adverbs, particles, conjunctions), anadiplosis, interjections and addressing words containing emotional expressiveness are commonly used in the works of folklore.
