Abstract.The paper represents the linguistic analysis of designations of the atmospheric phenomena in the Komi-Permian literary language. Its formation of the given microstructure as a part of the meteorological vocabulary occurred within many millenia. Its basis is made by the primordial fund of names consisting of lexical units of the ancient and late origin. Parent-Finno-Ugrian, Parent-Permian and Parent-Komi words refer to ancient meteonyms. The formations of later period differing from similar structures of other related languages, appear after divergence with the Komi-Zyryans. The other-language compo-nent consisting of borrowings of Russian origin, takes an insignifi cant place.
