Abstract. For the fi rst time morphemics questions are considered on the material of the Khanty language. We appeal to this subject not because of the lack of study of the grammatical categories in the Khanty language, but due to the absence of papers devoted to morphemics. Morphemics provides information about the words structure which is commonly used in word formation and morphology of the Khanty language. In this article we consider a word as a lexical-grammatical and syntactic unit of the language; that is we admit it (a word) to be a system of word forms, and a word form is one of the various manifestations of the word.
Keywords: morpheme, word form, root morpheme, suffi xal morpheme.
