ABSTRACT
Introduction: the relevance of the research is related to the need to research study the linguocultural features of different cultures. Culturological approach to the research of the concepts involves folklore as the object of research. Currently, there are still the singers of the Bear’s songs on Kazym territory. Objective: to identify the ways of representation of the concept hot ‘house’ in the songs of the Bear’s Games.
Research materials: the Bear’s songs, recorded by the author during the Bear’s Games in Kazym settlement of Beloyarsky District of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug in 2010, 2015 at the Osetnoye camp in Beloyarsky District in 2015, 2016.
Results and novelty of the research: for the first time in Khanty linguistics in the course of anthropocentric linguistics the typical expressions of the Bear’s songs are considered. In these songs the concept hot ‘house’ is represented by persistent folklore epithets, which describe people’s and deities’ houses. We have identified the largest number of typical expressions in descriptions of the deities’ houses, where we found their location, the materials they are made of and fragrance. Also we identified the lexemes for the parts of houses and decorations (ishњi ‘window’, pӑsan ‘table’, mўԓ ‘sacred [part] of the house’, hot ov ‘front door’, ovshehk ‘doorpost’, hothӑr ‘floor’, shchўr ‘a beam under the roof’; spaces of the house (hot lypi ‘internal space of the house’, hot kimpi ‘external space of the house’, hot ԓaӈәԓ ‘roof of the house’, hot shӑnsh ‘the space behind the house’ (lit.: the back of the house). Key words: concept, cognitive linguistics, Khanty language, Bear’s songs.
