Abstract. The variability of the lateral organization of the brain is more expressed among Khanty children compared to Slavic children. Six different profiles of brain lateral organization are distin guished among Khantychildren, and only five – among Slavic children. Left-handed children among Khanty are twice more than among Slavic children. In the study of sensory asymmetries it is found that Khanty boys have more likely the left ear leading, while Khanty girls have the right ear leading. In the group of Khanty children disproportion in the direction of increasing of children with the right eye leading among boys was more expressed compared to Slavic children.
