Abstract. The article analyses the objective factors, influencing on adequate interpretation and exact understanding of the emotional condition of another person, allocates the objective characteristics of speech which cause the meaning of the speech interpretation of the speaking person, and defines the psychological and social-psychological characteristics of the person. The author comes to a conclusion that ability to the adequate perception of emotions of another person is caused by understanding of acoustic paralinguistic means.
