Periodization of childhood in the Mansi language picture of the world: comparative aspect

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article is devoted to the analysis of the periodization of childhood in the Mansi language picture of the world in comparison with the Russian in the linguistic and cultural aspect.
Objective: to identify the layer of vocabulary of the Mansi and Russian languages naming or characterizing different periods of childhood; to conduct a linguoculturological analysis of the cultural connotations of idioms of the compared languages.
Research materials: lexical and phraseological units of the Mansi (Northern dialect) and Russian languages.
Results and novelty of the research: the article contains materials that precede the semantic modeling of childhood in the Mansi and Russian language picture of the world. As a result of the research, lexical and phraseological units naming or characterizing various periods of childhood were identified and selected; the lexical and semantic space (LSS) of boundaries and periods of childhood was determined; this LSS was filled with appropriate lexemes and idioms; a linguoculturological analysis of cultural connotations of idioms was carried out with the identification of cultural codes. lies in the fact that the work for the first time attempts to analyze this age group from the point of view of its representation in multi-system languages. 252
