Abstract. The article discusses the features of the functioning of one of the most diffi cult parts of the human brain – the frontal lobes. Modern ideas about their functioning at the present stage have different views of different schools and scholars. According to the authors’ own research, the defeat of the frontal lobes leads to two main types of pathological syndromes: they do not go beyond the proper functioningof the frontal lobes, and beyond these limits. This is explained by the authors of polyfunctional frontal part of the brain, as well as its regulatory role in relation to the outside of frontal areas. For each of the observed types of frontal lobe syndrome, detailed clinical observations provides.
