Abstract.The presentation of the various territorial groups of the Northern Mansi about the structure of the Universe is quite diverse, there is a division of the world – both vertically and horizontally. Vertical partitioning of the Universe is closely intertwined with horizontal partitioning of the world in the sides of light, the Ural mountains, the river, the banks of the river, the right and left sides relative to a particular person. These parties, in one degree or another, connected to the lower, middle and upper worlds of the universe.
