ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article is devoted to the study of the poetic system of Alina Podgornova, a prominent representative of Erzya literature of the early XXI century. The subject of the study is the methods and means of reflecting the author’s worldview, the motif-shaped block of lyrical texts of the poetess.
Objective: to reveal the thematic features of A. Podgornova’s poems, to determine the complex of key motifs, figurative and symbolic constants.
Research materials: works by A. Podgornova from the collection «The Thought».
Results and novelty of the research: as a result of the study, we come to the conclusion that the poetic system of A. Podgornova reflects modern globalization processes, the crisis atmosphere of the milestone era, communication models in society, gender roles and relationships, universal spiritual and moral values, needs and opportunities of an individual. In her works the features of postmodernism are traced – a tragic attitude, dissatisfaction with reality, an ironic reflection of the world, and urge for allegorical thinking. Turning to the comprehension of traditional themes, the young author refuses the aesthetic preferences of the national lyric tradition, builds an original poetic strategy, finds new images endowed with deep symbolic semantics, uses the possibilities of subject imagery, which leads to the enrichment and development of the Mordovian poetic system as a whole. Poems by A. Podgornova from the collection «The Thought» are for the first time become the subject of scientific reflection.
