ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article deals with the structural and semantic aspects of the nominal phraseological units in the Shoksha dialect of the Erzya language. The study of dialect stable combinations is relevant because they contain different information about local customs, work experience, everyday life, material culture and spiritual life of the Mordovians.
Objective: to research a fragment of dialect phraseology on material of the nominal phraseological units of the Shoksha dialect of the Erzya language and to analyze their structural and semantic features.
Research materials: the phraseological units of the Shoksha dialect of the Erzya language. The main method is the structural and semantic analyses used for determination of structure and content of the nominal phraseological units.
Results and novelty of the research: dialect phraseology of the Mordovian (Moksha and Erzya) languages is exceptionally rich and diverse, but at the same time it remains theoretically and lexicographically undeveloped. In this article we attempted to examine the phraseological units of the Shoksha dialect in structural and semantic aspects. The comparative analysis between the dialect material idioms and the Erzya literary language was given. The semantic types of the phraseological units typical for the Shoksha dialect were identified.
