Slugina is determined by the creative concept of the author, her critical attitude. Various spheres of modern reality are subjected to satirical interpretation – socio-economic, nationalcultural, family and everyday life. The poet’s works highlight a number of problematic and thematic clusters: the spiritual and moral state and ethical priorities of society, the ecology of nature, the preservation of national identity, transformation,
the extinction of the Erzya language, the financial well-being of people and the instability of society, family values and the search for personal happiness, principles and methods of education the younger generation, activities of modern children. The author’s satire is focused on the collective image of the “masters of life” and hard workers, negligent officials, public figures, pseudo-democratic leaders, contemporaries who were the product of the national social environment, morally degraded contemporaries in whom real personalities are easily discerned. Satirical typification in works is achieved by using
metaphor, hyperbole, allegory, comparison, antithesis, parody, allusion, as well as elements of utopia, sarcasm, and mask. The scientific novelty of the article is determined by the fact that M.
