Abstract. The article deals with the rites of Mordovian people devoted to the end of harvesting, public praying before the beginning of sowing, bans, which were to provide a rich harvest, rituals and beliefs dedicated to the beginning of the spring cattle grazing, praying to the farm and cattle-breeding’s protectors for the herd’s return from summer pastures to the winter quarters.

Abstract.
