Abstract. The article analyzes the results of sociological researches conducted in 2006-2008 years on the territories of Nizhnevartovsk and Surgut areas of Ugra. The attitude of respondents to creation and development of the territories of traditional nature management, ethnonatural parks and reservations in the places of compact residence of indigenous peoples of the North are analyzed.
