Abstract:The article presents data of an empirical research study about the development of conceptual thinking of fi rst graders in different teaching conditions. It has been shown, that the specifi c characteristics of the development of their conceptual thinking depends on the organization of the learning process, by focusing on the child’s psyche and on the components of the development of their conceptual thinking.
