ABSTRACT
Introduction: the work is devoted to the study of the degree of parental satisfaction with the quality of additional education of children in the native languages and literature of the indigenous peoples of the North of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. Additional education for children is an integral (variable) part of general education. The main indicator of quality here is the level of satisfaction of the population with this type of education. The results of the work can be used in the preparation and adoption of decisions by state and municipal governments focused on the development of educational policy, the improvement of the modern school, as well as parental education.
Objective: to obtain reliable information for identification of the actual needs of parents and students in additional education, parents’ satisfaction with the quality of additional education services for children in the study of native languages and literature of the indigenous peoples of the North.
Research materials: data of the sociological survey “Study of the opinion of parents on the quality of additional educational services by the school for the study of native languages and literature” (2021).
Results and novelty of the research: according to the results of the survey, the majority of respondents (70.9%) rated the quality of additional education in their native languages and literature of the indigenous peoples of the North, which gives their child an additional education institution today, as “good”. Less than half of the respondents (41.7%) are satisfied with the conditions aimed at development of abilities and interests of children, including their participation in competitions and Olympiads in the native languages and literature of the indigenous minorities of the North. The novelty of the work is determined by the fact that for the first time on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, a sociological survey was conducted to study and identify the degree of parental satisfaction with the quality of additional education of children in their native languages and literature.
Key words: respondents, additional education, satisfaction, indigenous peoples of the North, native language and literature.
