The concept of love in the novel by Yu. N. Shestalov “Revelations of the Winged Pastor”

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article is devoted to the comprehension of the concept of love in the novel “Revelations of the Winged Pastor” by Yu. N. Shestalov. The study fits into the modern studies about Shestalov and reveals the individual author’s artistic picture of the world. The material of the article expands the horizons of study of the concepts not only in Mansi, but in Finno-Ugric literature in general.
Objective: to identify individual author ways of representation of the concept of love in the novel “Revelations of the Winged Pastor” by Yu. N. Shestalov.
Research materials: the novel “Revelations of the Winged Pastor” by Yu. N. Shestalov.
Results and novelty of the research: the article for the first time analyzes the artistic conceptual world of the novel “Revelations of the Winged Pastor” by Yu. N. Shestalov. The attention is focused on the concept of love as central for the work. This concept in Yu. N. Shestalov’s novel “Revelations of the Winged Pastor” has not been the object of research in literary studies. The analysis allows us to conclude that the conceptual framework of understanding love passes at the end of the novel into “the highest form of life”. Thus, the contextual synonyms of love in the novel of the Mansi author are the primary basis of the world, game, beloved woman, mother, fate, warmth, and life. The analysis of the concept undertaken in the article appeals to the problem of rethinking the philosophical understanding of life as a dynamic category forming in the writer’s artistic thinking. The revelation that Yu. N. Shestalov comes to in one of his last works is valuable in the system of the general conception of the worldview of his work.
