Abstract. The article details  the concept of ethnographic tourism. One of the main resources for the organization of this tourism, are ethnographic objects. Ethnotourism being natural  kind of activity, stimulates development of traditional trades and crafts and can become one of the sources of  income for the local residents. Ethnic tourism has the purpose to show the life, culture, traditions and customs of people who live in harmony with the nature. Development of ethnic tourism should promote the preservation of a cultural heritage and be the factor of steady development of the territories of residence.
