Imperative interjections in the Vakh dialect of the Khanty language

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the article examines the interjections of the Vakh dialect of the Khanty language in the form of expression if will motivating to action. The article identifies and analyzes the most commonly used lexemes of the studied group; establishes their lexical composition and usage features; systematizes them according to semantic characteristics.
Objective: to identify and describe the functional and semantic features of imperative (motivational) interjections of the Vakh dialect.
Research materials: examples of a semantically little‒studied Khanty language, as well as folklore texts and field materials of the author.
Results and scientific novelty: the relevance of the research theme is due to the fact that the imperative interjections of the Vakh dialect have not been studied. The scientific novelty of the study consists in identification and classification of the considered group of lexemes. As a result of the analysis of texts and phrases of oral speech, we have identified 7 interjections of the Vakh dialect and 4 of the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language with motivation to action, invocations, heils, exclamations to attract attention. The meanings of interjections used in folklore collections are clarified during the expedition work; additional examples are given; new variants of words are identified. For example, the interjections uly, uly t’ӓ, ӄәm despite their frequency are not recorded in lexicographic sources. For comparison, examples of the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language is given.
