Infinite verb forms in the Verkhnekamsk dialect Komi-Permyak language

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The paper deals with the description of the infinite verb forms found in the Upper Kama dialect of the Komi-Permian language. The forms and meanings of the infinitive, participle and adverbial participle are considered.
Objective: to identify the morphological characteristics and features of the functioning of the infinite verb forms in the Upper Kama dialect of the Komi-Permian language.
Research materials: linguistic materials of the author’s dialectological expeditions to the area of residence of the Kirov Permians.
Results and novelty of the research: Infinite verb forms in the Upper Kama dialect include the infinitive, participle and adverbial participle. As a result of the study, it was revealed that this idiom is characterized by: 1) the functioning of the indefinite, definite and proper-negative forms of the infinitive; 2) the use of present participles on -ысь, -ан (-ys, -an), past tense on -ӧм, -ӧмa (-ӧm, -ӧma), the caritive participle on -тӧм (-tӧm); 3) the displacement of the pariciple on -тӧм (-tӧm) from speech by an analytical form formed by means of the particle абы / абу (aby / abu) and participle on -ӧм / -ӧмa (-ӧm / -ӧma): aбы ытшkӧма (aby ytshkӧmа) ‘uncut’; 4) the rare use of adverbial participles in speech and their replacement with synonymous constructions. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the fact that it for the first time provides a morphological characteristics of the infinite verb forms functioning in the Upper Kama dialect of the Komi-Permian language with a comparison of data on other Komi dialects.
