Abstract. Family has a great influence on the psychic and personal child development. The article deals with the specificity of family influence, its classification, mechanisms, and means. Herewith the author draws attention to the fact that the influence can be not only positive but also negative. In the author’s opinion the issues of psychological aid to the children under the conditions of negative family influence deserve a close attention.
