Questions of forecast correction of speech development and speech recovery in aphasia

Abstract:The article analyzes problems of forecast development of speech in children and recovery in aphasia. Since the true causes of children’s speech delay and pathogenesis of the main forms of aphasia have not been fully revealed yet, the problem cannot be considered suffi ciently investigated. The author offer an original view of the pathogenesis of serious speech impairments of both children and adults that may serve as a basis of determining some earlier unconsidered criteria for predicting the correction and regeneration of speech functions. The role of the carrying-out ways in acquisition of the speech and compensatory values in its reconstruction is disclosed.
