The phraseological units of the lexical-semantic groups “outer man” and “inner man” are identified, analyzed and compared from the point of view of linguoculturology.
Objective: to identify features of the human body on the base of somatic phraseology of the Mansi language.
Research materials: phraseological units of the Northern dialect of the Mansi language.
Results and novelty of the research: for the first time in the Mansi phraseological fund, the inventory of phraseological units of the lexical-semantic groups “outer man” and “inner man” are identified and systematized; their semantics are determined; the main lexemes contributing to the formation of the units under consideration, their nominative density and phraseological activity are established; the national-cultural properties of phraseological units are analyzed. During the analysis of the language material, it was determined that the most productive and frequent components in the phraseological units are
the components of sym ‘heart’, sam ‘eye’, wīl’t ‘face’, nēlm ‘tongue’, kāt ‘hand’, n’ōwǝl’ ‘meat, muscles’. It is established that phraseological calculus based on borrowing by the Mansi language from the Russian takes place in the phraseological system of the Mansi language.
