Abstract. The article examines the results of industrial mining in the context of geo-ecological and sociological researches on the example of Kondinsky area of Ugra. The article presents geo-ecological assessment of the region and area. The views of respondents of the area concerning the process of industrial mining and its results are comparatively analyzed.
