Udmurt alphabet by N. N. Blinov in the context of formation of educational and methodological and written literary traditions of the XIX–XX centuries

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the cluster of alphabetical editions has its own history. In their formation, the socio-political and cultural aspects of time played an important role. In this context, the Udmurt alphabet compiled by N. N. Blinov was also created. The considered monument of Udmurt literature is interesting as the material for study and analysis from the point of view of the presence in it of historical and methodological materials, the formation of the idea about letter reform and development of literary genres. In this key alphabet by N. N. Blinov has never been considered before.
Objective: to consider N. N. Blinov’s alphabet in the context of educational and methodical principles, formation of written and literary traditions of the XIX–XX centuries.
Research materials: Udmurt alphabet by N. N. Blinov « Lydzon» («Reading») (1867).
Results and novelty of the research: the paper substantiates the idea about the typological similarity of the textbooks of the XIX –XX centuries, explainable by the fact that the texts were borrowed from existing books, subject to creative processing. Works of Russian writers placed in the content of the textbook paved the way for interethnic communication practices, literary experiments in native language. In general, the new teaching algorithm proposed by N.N. Blinov was predetermined by the sociocultural context and was later used by other compilers of textbooks for Udmurt children. The Udmurt alphabet by N. N. Blinov, characterized by methodological innovations, was first considered in the context of the educational and methodological principles of teaching and written literary traditions that were formed in the XIX–XX centuries.
