Background for creation of local network community of teachers

Abstract. The article examines the factors that determine readiness or un-readiness of teachers to participate in network community, organized by Center for education development in Khany-Mansiysk. As follows from the analysis, together with positive tendencies five factors of negative teachers’ motivation were revealed: (1) lack of time, (2) tendency to work alone, (3) deficiency of technological support, (4) low level of Web 2.0 technologies (5) preference for personal contact. These conclusions will help to improve the effectiveness of network community in professional growth of teacher.
