Abstract. Federal state educational standards demand a new view on the organization of educational process and upbringing. The article dealswith the variants of development of intellectual activity of preschool age children. The presented models of work on L.N. Tolstoy’s fairy tales illustrate the character and specifics of work carried out by the teacher, visually show the possibilities of cooperation of children’s activity and teachers.
