Opposition light/darkness and sound/soundless in spatial code of the universe. The role of birds-mediators in fulfi llment of connections between the worlds

Abstract. In the traditional world view of indigenous people of the North there was a mythological concept, according to which in addition to the real world, different, the space-time continuum existed also – open to infi nity worlds, populated by a host of various spirits. Middle, Upper and Lower worlds existed as a parallel in the concept of multistory Universe, but at the same time they had mutual permeability. The paper reveals the importance of light, sound and birds-mediatorsin establishmentof communicative channels between the worlds.
