ABSTRACT Introduction. Until the present, all models and means of comparison based on the material of Ob-Ugric languages have not been identified$ there is no detailed description of their structure and semantics in the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language, in the Mansi language. The article is devoted to identification of ways of comparison and their structure in the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language, in the Mansi language, and their comparison with the Shuryshkar and Kazym dialects, description of the similarities and differences in the structure and semantics of the ways of comparison.
 Objective: to reveal the main models, variants, means of comparison of the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language, the Mansi language; to describe the general and different in structure and semantics of the comparison models of the Ob-Ugric languages, as well as special models of each of the Ob-Ugric languages. Research materials: a sample of examples from folklore and publicistic texts in the Ob-Ugric languages, partially extracted from the dictionaries of the Khanty and Mansi languages, from articles, as well as from questionnaires collected by the author. Results and novelty of the research. The means, ways of comparison and models of comparison in the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language, in the Mansi language are revealed and compared with other dialects of the Khanty language. As a result, the general models of comparison for the Ob-Ugric languages are described; the specific models and variants for each of the languages are determined; observations on changes in the structure of the models and their variants in dependence to grammatical features of the Khanty and Mansi languages are made. The main part of the models of the Khanty and Mansi languages coincide in structure and semantics. Differ in their structure models are fixed in the Mansi language. The results of the research can be used in the comparison of related and unrelated languages, in writing of the grammar of the Khanty language.
