Abstract. The article is devoted to the very actual subjectconcerning the impact of vaccination on child’s health, and in particular its causal role in the development of autism. The author states the existence of ongoing debate in literature on this problem and givesobjective data in literature, refl ecting the positions of two disputing parts. According to the results of analysis of the problem the main issues, which can shed the light on rights, and reasons of view’s disagreements are discussed. A number of fundamental issues, related to the understanding of vaccination nature and specifi city of autism, is teased out and covered. It concludes on the need of joint actions of participants in the ongoing discussions to resolve still uncertain problems related to vaccination and its consequences.
