Закончила ФНКС Российского государственного педагогического университета им. А. И. Герцена. Работала в Ханты-Мансийском технолого-педагогическом колледже преподавателем хантыйского языка и литературы, старшим преподавателем кафедры развития этнообразовательных систем обско-угорских народов в Институте повышения квалификации и развития регионального образования.
В 1996-1997, 2001 гг. проходила стажировку в Финляндии на кафедре финно-угроведения Хельсинского университета.

Имеет около 50 публикаций, в том числе более 30 научных.
